Convention of Achlum
On Saturday, May 28 the Convention of Achlum was held. This convention marked the 200th year anniversary of an insurance company. 2.500 guests were invited. The program included several debates, lectures and living room conversations. The main guest was former president of the United States of America Bill Clinton. De Kruijf Tenten placed the Mirror tent Salon Perdu as a debate tent. Theatre Tent Temple Bar was built behind the main stage and served as the backstage area.

Defqon.1 Festival
This time no aluminum construction tents to accomodate lockers or a first aid post at Defqon. In 2011 Defqon.1 Festival moved its grounds from the Almere beach to the Walibi event site at Biddinghuizen. The festival was expanded to include a camping area. At the campsite De Kruijf Tenten placed mirror tent Salon Perdu which was outfitted to serve as a cinema. Also theatre tent Temple Bar was built to serve as a theatre. The Defqon orginization supplied an appropriate front entrance panel for the Salon Perdu. These two tents were offered to the campsite visitors for the ultimate in entertainment.

Music festival Utrecht region
For a three-day music festival in the Utrecht region we placed the Star tent (32 x 43 m) alongside it's little brother, the Round Silver festival tent. So that's two silver tents at one location. Both tents were equipped with a stage. This combination of tents is an ideal but also stunning solution for the festival that served 3.500 visitors.

Opening law firm Woerden
For the opening of a law firm in Woerden we placed yet another decent aluminum construction tent. The side walls were fitted with our new PVC panels. Since 2011 we have a new design panels in use. These are designed by ourselves and aesthetically cleaner than the old model. Furthermore, there were two pyramid tents attached to the main tent to serve as entrance and catering area. One side of the main tent was outfitted with glass panels which offered a nice view of the new building.

Temporary restaurant
Commissioned by a global clothing and shoe brand we placed an aluminum construction tent of 20 x 50 meters for a period of three months. During this period the company restaurant was renovated. In front of the large tent, two smaller entrance tents were placed. The tent was fitted with large windows, fabrics, heaters, lighting, carpeting and even a special HACCP floor in the kitchen. In short, an example of a project we are proud of and in which we were able to show that we are of all-trades!

A few things we've done
Opening new docks Rotterdam
For the opening of some new Rotterdam docks we placed an small but very beautiful project. In a short time we built an aluminium construction tent of 10 x 10 meters. A toiletunit was connected to it. This toiletunit is fully self-supporting with no water supply or drainage required. A pyramid tent was used as working tent for the catering crew and on the nicely aligned floor, we laid a beautiful blank wooden deck that finished it off completely. On the terrace in front of the tent the guests were able to watch the activities on the water in front of them!

Open day De Kruijf Tenten &
Domes Europe
As of January 1, De Kruijf Tents has taken over Domes Europe. On this occasion, in spring 2010 we had an open day where we could let everyone know about our products and capabilities. We placed several domes and theater tent "De Berenkuil"

Tents resort conference center
For a conference center, we placed two aluminum construction tents. A tent measuring 20 x 35 meters and a tent 15 x 15 meters. This location had a significant height difference. To battle this we build a safe construction with our layher system under the floor.

Wedding in Schalkwijk
For a wedding in Schalkwijk De Kruijf Tenten provided a total package. Three connected pyramid tents of 70 m² and an entrance tent. Furthermore, we handled a large portion of the decoration, such as carpet tiles, furniture and a bar.

Anniversary ULC
For the annual BBQ party at the ULC De Kruijf Tenten placed two eyecatching tents. The Nevada VIP 8-corner and the white pole tent 12 x 12 meters. The white pole tent was outfitted with a wider system floor. The floor expanded between the two tents where the BBQ equipment was installed. On top of the floor we put a nice deck floor, giving it a natural appearance! Carpet in the Nevada tent and toilet facilities made it a complete picture.

Three day festival with well-known artists
In the town of IJsselstein a three day festival was held. De Kruijf Tenten was hired to build three different tents for three different stages. All tents were equipped with floor and stage.
The star tent was built at full length (32x43 metres). In this tent we installed a big ‘layher’ podium of 10x20 metres with a loading dock on which big names like Nick & Simon, Monique Smit, Frans Duijts and Starkoo XL performed. The loading dock was essential considering the rapid changes of the artists and the necessary modifications involved. Both the building and outfitting of the tents was realized in one day by De Kruijf Tenten.

Eneco Wind Day
At ECO Park in Waalwijk Eneco organised the Eneco Wind Day. The ECO Park in Waalwijk is a unique initiative in the field of sustainable energy in the Netherlands. We placed a tent with an aluminium construction (15x20 metres). Some of the side walls were made of transparent canvas. For exhibition stands, entrance and kitchen we placed 12 pyramid tents. At the bottom of the hill we placed the round silver festival tent. This event is a fine example of the versatility of De Kruijf Tenten.

New pole tent
Our assortment of tents is extended with a new pole tent. This tent is completely white and not illuminating. The sides are partly made of a transparent canvas. This tent is ideal for small parties such as weddings. The dimensions for this tent are 12x12 metres or 12x12 metres.

Zomerproef
In Soest the culinary festival Zomerproef was held. We placed 27 pyramid tents for the exhibitors. People could then enjoy various types of food like fresh sushi or different flavours of champagne.
The white pole tent (12x18 metres) was the central point of the culinary square. The star tent with stage was used during the parties at night.

Marnix Academy 25th anniversary
In Utrecht the Marnix Academy celebrated it´s 25th anniversary. In honor of this occasion various activities were organized. We put up a tent with an aluminium construction (20 x 20 metres) with a second alu tent (5 x 5 metres) serving as a kitchen. On the floor we laid carpet tiles in an appropriate color, Marnix Red

Romantiek Werkhoven
Last winter our mirror tent De Romantiek was restored. It's first event after this restoration was the opening of the new store of Evert Snel (piano's & grand piano's) at the town of Werkhoven. The opening was done by Commissioner of the Queen, mr. Robbertson. Several piano concerts werd held inside De Romantiek with performances of Wibi Soerjadi, Daniël Wayenberg and Christiaan Kuyenhoven.

100 years anniversary ice-rink Doorn
In the town of Doorn people celebrated the 100 years anniversary of the local ice-rink. We put up tent with aluminium construction (20 x 40 metres) with an aligned floor. On this floor an artificial ice-rink was installed. The tent was then connected to a VIP tent which had glass panels on the sides. This created a nice view on the ice-rink. A pyramid tent was installed as an entrance to complete the site.

Temporary housing of lifestock
This project shows that our tents can be used for very different purposes. Due to a lack of space we built an elevated tent with an aluminium construction (15 x 40 metres) for the temporary housing op lifestock. This way we made sure the cattle made it through the winter!
Aquabest
For a (company) festival at recreation park Aquabest we built an elevated tent with an aluminium construction (20 x 45 metres). With sides of 3.70 metres and the glass panels it was a pretty picture along the water...

Anniversary construction company
For the 25 years anniversary of a construction company, we built a tent with an aluminium construction (10 x 25 metres). One of the long sides was suited with glass panels and a pyramid tent serving as an entrance. We also provided the carpet, the lighting, a bar, power supply and toilet facilities.

In the town of Assen people celebrated the start of the construction of the new district Kloosterveste. We built a pyramid village with terrace.

Festival "Foute Zomerfeest"
In the town of IJsselstein people organised a first-time festival called "Foute Zomerfeest". We built a tent with an aluminium construction (30 x 55 metres). To this we connected another aluminium tent (7.5 x 5 metres) which housed the bar. The artists performed on our layher podium.

Tennis on Wheels Mercedes Dutch open
In the city of Utrecht the annual Open Dutch Championships Tennis on Wheels were held. All top seeded players in the world were present. We built the entire accommodation of tents, including pagoda tents for cooking needs and the storing of wheelchairs, walkways and tents with an aluminium construction for the player and officials pavilion. Of course the entire site was wheelchair friendly!

Open day RDW circuit Lelystad
At the RDW circuit in Lelystad an open day was held in together with the VTL Truck Experience. For this event we built a tent with an aluminium construction (20 x 50 metres) and a hexasyllabic pyramid tent on a talus. The aluminium construction tent was equiped with glass panels, walkways and carpet. We also installed toilet facilities.

Motorshow
For a motorshow we built our full length festival tent (60 metres) including a concert stage and a car platform. The VIP stage was placed inside a tent with aluminium construction. Pyramid tents were installed all across the event site.

Riverdance
Near our company headquarters at Schalkwijk the annual Dance Event Riverdance was held. For the first time ever we built our new silver round festival tent (25 x 30 metres). We also built several pyramid tents and a tent with an aluminium construction.

Boskoop
For a wholesales company in plants we built an elevated tent with an aluminium construction (30 metres in length). This tent was used as an exhibition space for an extended period of time.

Stiho Nederland
For a company called Stiho Nederland we created a location on which we built our star tent and several aluminium construction tents.
We also provided them with all kinds of facilities needed for their 80 years anniversary.

Florist anniversary
For this client we built the Berenkuil. The tent was built on our own festival location.

New Years party ABN-AMRO Bank Zwolle
For the local office of the ABN-AMRO Bank in Zwolle we built several tents with connections to the exisiting building. We also provided lighting, power supply and heaters.
